~ I am turning 50 and I am going to celebrate by giving YOU 50% off 1 piece of jewelry. ~

I am turning 50 and I am going to celebrate by giving YOU 50% off 1 piece of jewelry.

For my 50th birthday I am celebrating by giving you 50% off 1 piece of The Speckled Goose Jewelry.

Offer is good from Wednesday Oct 29th through Saturday November 8th.

Offer limited to 1 discount per person, and you must mention the newsletter to receive your discount.

That's right I am turning 50. Hard to believe, but there are days that I feel the 50 plus. I keep trying to tell John that mom is only 39, but he won't go for it. I guess that that would be a pretty weird discount to offer customers.

Stop by and help me celebrate my 50th.

~ John starts wrestling this week ~

John's wrestling club starts practicing tonight. He won't be going for a couple of week though as he still has two weeks left till the end of football. Apparently there is no rest for wicked kids either.

I'll have to find his recent football picture and post. He is getting so big and looks so grown up.

More later. Enjoy the fall weather. It is a little cooler this week. Ok for me it is cold. The high is about 55 - 60 degrees and cloudy and overcast.

~ Celebrate Lafayette ~

The weather was great for the Celebrate Lafayette Celebration. I got to meet more of my neighbors around the store which is great. The kids loved the parade. The parades are a lot smaller these days than I remember as a kid.

~ October is Breast Cancer Awareness ~

Just want to remind everyone that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Please make sure that you get your mamogram.

My sister (who is 2 years younger than I) is a almost 6 year survivor and my mother will be a 2 year survivor. You just never know, so please make sure you get your yearly exam.

~ Starting to feel like fall ~

It is starting to feel like fall in Colorado. I love this time of year. Cool nights and cooldays. The trees have beautiful colors going on. Sure makes it fun to sit in the house snuggled in a blanket watching football.

I am not enjoying the sweeping of the leaves, but it sure is better than the snow at this point. I'll have to get some pics of the trees around here and post.
